Inspired By a Friend

So I got to meet up with one of my best friends tonight and right before we left she said, "Courtney, you need to blog more!" It was wierd because about 5 min. before she said that, I was thinking the same thing! So then I got the incredible urge to blog as soon as I got home! So here I am.....inspired to write by my friend.
My night was pretty awesome! I didn't do homework and I met with Beth at Bakers Street and we just talked and talked and talked......and could have talked some more if Kelli wouldn't have needed paper from their parents house (thanks a lot Kelli) haha! Just kidding! I just had a lot to say since we hadn't seen each other in a while. But you know what's great? To know you have friends who are real. And I mean people who you know you can always trust, who will always be there, who don't judge you, and you just have a special connection with! I only have a couple like that and when I say a couple I mean I don't even need a whole hand....she's honestly one of my best friends! We honestly don't hang out much anymore because she is miss professional teacher now (you go girl!!) LoL....but I love talking to her and hanging out when we can.
I was inspired by my friend in more ways than one tonight....not just inspired to write a blog...

Mindy's Big Weekend!

As most of you know one of my best friends, Mindy, got married last weekend! I was one of her bridesmaids and just so happened to be in charge of her bachelorette party. This was my very first bachelorette party to plan and I thought I might go insane! I had no idea what to do at first. I did have lots of help from some friends and I appreciate them so much! We rented a LIMO for an hour (but ended up in it for only like 20 min). We were sticking out of the sun-roof of the limo yelling at cars and making them honk....it was so much fun! Then we all went over to the Olive Garden and had a yummy dinner and then back to my apartment club house for dessert and some fun! (thanks to Kristin and Andrea, it was decorated very cute) We played a couple of games and had dessert and them came the good stuff! Mindy opened her presents (mostly lingerie) She got enough to wear something different everynight for probably 3 months! After that we blind folded Mindy with some HUGE underwear and took her to Buffalo Wild Wings for some karaoke (however you spell it)....it was hilarious!! We had an awesome night and couldn't be happier for her!

Then came Saturday.....The BIG day!!! We got up early and decorated all morning until about 1:30 and then started getting ready. It all turned out so beautiful and the ceremony was absolutely amazing! Congratulations Mindy and Kasey!!

See how my picture looks stretched out on my blog page and we all look chubby?? I can't figure out how to fix that or how to just get a picture on the side instead of the whole top....can somebody help? I still don't know how to find other cute templates too....help!

I'm so bad!

Ok....yes, it has been over a month since I've blogged! I'm sure my friends who have it are going to kill me. I didn't think people looked at it too much so I slowly started not blogging as much.

:( My mom and dad asked me the last two days why I haven't blogged and then my uncle asked me today, so I was happy to know that people do look at it!

So much has happened since I wrote a month ago!! My birthday, Christmas, New Years....good times!

Christmas was wonderful! We had to wait until Christmas night to open gifts, but it was awesome. I can tell I'm getting older though because it's not as exciting to open gifts for myself anymore. I get more excited about watching others open what I got them! God really blessed me with an amazing family! I love them so much!

I didn't do too much for New Years. Just hung out with some friends for a while and ended up watching the ball drop and that's about it! But hey, I looked pretty cute! LoL!

There is just so much to tell and I feel like I don't even know where to start! I think I've got to post some pictures...those will say a lot!

Hook 'Em Horns

Last weekend my friend Kristin and I went down to Austin to visit my sister and go to the UT game with her. As you know, my sister goes to UT and is about to graduate so this was her last home game as a student at UT... :'( I'm so glad we got to go with her because we had a blast!! Texas played Tech and whooped the pants off of them! I thought I would stick some pictures up for you guys to enjoy! It was one fun weekend and I love my sister!!! HOOK 'EM HORNS!!!

I L.O.V.E. the Holidays!

I'm getting so excited about Christmas!!! I absolutely love this time of the year! ~The Holidays!!! Cuddle up in blanket, drink some warm hot chocolate, sit by a fire, listen to Christmas music, decorate for Christmas, cold weather, Christmas parties....the list goes on and on! I just love it! It's kind of been weird because it is November and it's still in the 70s, but tonight we got a cold front and I think next week, its supposed to start getting cold, so then it will really feel like the Holidays!
As for Thanksgiving, I don't know what I'm doing. My daddy has to work the day before, the day of, and the day after Thanksgiving (because he's so awesome) so I might be cooking my own little turkey and hanging out here. (ok, so I probably won't cook a turkey, but I'll cook something and that will be impressive enough!) So if anyone else doesn't have plans for Thanksgiving-let me know!

I have so much to tell!!!

I have so much stuff that has happened within the last couple of weeks, but I just haven't had a chance to write about all of it! I have lots and lots of pictures too! I've had my Uncle's wedding, Halloween, UT game....wow! So much fun stuff!!! Everything has been amazing and I've had so much fun!! I'm just going to have to write about it later because I'm really tired, but I just wanted to let you know I have a lot of news!!! So check up later!
