My Old Roomate

My old roomate, Paige, came in to visit last weekend! I lived with her in the dorms the second semester of my freshman year. We became such close friends and after the school year ended I moved to Austin and she moved to Lubbock. We're still really close and she's like a sister to me! Anyways, we had fun while she was here...went to Christoval and checked out this cool place to swim and then came home and got all dressed up and went out to eat..and of course "talked" all night! I'll show you two pictures of us...one is from when we were roomates and the other is from this past weekend! She changed just a little huh?

Yep, it's def. been a while since I've updated again. Not too much has been going on. School is going pretty good. I like most of my classes so far. In the one I don't like (Performance Studies) we have to perform a prose piece next week and I hate getting up in front of the whole class to perform something. I can get up and talk about my life or something, but not perform an art piece. Anyways, other than that...I still love my job!!! I've been leasing apartments like crazy and getting a lot of experience with sales in a way. And the time is getting closer to when I get my extra check! Even better!! Why do I like to spend money so much?? I really have too many wants...haha! I think my daddy would agree. :)

YES I DID IT! I PAINTED MY LIVING ROOM! IT TURNED OUT REALLY PRETTY!! I PAINTED IT A GREEN COLOR.....(PARAMOUNT SAGE is what it was called) I WILL HAVE TO TAKE SOME PICTURES AND POST THEM SO YOU CAN SEE!!!

I know, I know

Yes, it has been a very long time since I have posted something.....actually, people probably stopped looking at my page because its been so long, but oh well. Anyways, I started school last week and so far I like all of my classes-but school till sucks in general! I'm taking 2 online classes and the one is ok, but I'm still trying to figure out how to do the other one and my book still hasn't come in for it so I'm freaking out! Oh well, it will be ok.....did I mention school sucks?

New Project

I was laying on my couch this morning listening to some music after I got out of the shower (yea I know, don't ask) and I decided that I need a new project. It's something I've been wanting to do, but just never acted on it. I'm going to paint my living room!! Ok, now Dad, don't freak out! One of my friends works at home depot, so I'm sure he'll give me something to lay down on my floor and over my furniture so I don't get paint on everything. I'm just trying to debate what color I should paint it....I need some help! I have beige carpet and beige furniture. My walls right now are white and the area around my fireplace is brown wood. I don't really want a tan because then my whole room would all blend together....I need some color in here, but nothing too crazy! So let me know if you have any ideas! Ok well, I had to post that bulletin before I forgot, but I gotta go get ready for church! Oh yea, and anyone who wants to help is more than welcome to!

I know

I know, I know, I've been very bad about updating my blog lately. School is no longer the excuse....I've been getting to sleep in in the mornings since I don't have school and when I get off of work...well, I just forget to blog. Anyways, nothing too exciting has gone on. All of my friends are gone for the weekend to a leadership thing for Chi Alpha and I'm stuck at work...so, it's going to be a boring weekend. Next weekend I'm going to Lubbock to visit my old roomate, Paige!! Man, I miss that girl! Well, I can't leave until Saturday afternoon, but it's going to be lots of fun! It's the weekend right before school starts back up so hopefully I'll get to see some of my other friends while I'm there. Speaking of school....I really don't want to start back up yet, but I keep looking at it like it's pretty much down-hill from here. I'm pretty sure I will graduate in December 2008, which if you think about it, it's not that far away. It will fly by! And thanks to my dad, I've saved all of my electives for the end so hopefully my last semester is going to be a breeze! (hopefully) Aunt Ann, Uncle Steve-I know you're reading this, so you better plan now to come to my graduation!!!
Anyways, it's tax free weekend, which doesn't mean all that much to me because I won't be able to spend enough money for it to actually help save me a good amount, but you know me-I've gotta go at least check things out! lol! Oh yea, and I've gotta get my oil changed because I'm just about 3000 miles over.....(yea, dad-don't kill me)
