Trip to Austin

HORRAY!!! NO MORE SCHOOL!!!......(well, for two weeks) I just got done with summer school on Friday and I'm so excited! These next few weekends before school starts are going to be crazy! I think I'm going to make a couple of road trips since I've been in school all summer! Anyways, I came to Austin this weekend to have a good time! We went to the underground bowling on UT campus on Friday night and then to Kerby Lane to eat. I tell ya what, that's where all the wierdos come out at night! On Saturday we got up and went for a walk around the park and then came back and got ready for the day! Then off to San Marcos for SHOPPING AT THE OUTLET MALL!!!!!!!! Gosh, I love that place! Of course, I found something in just about every store I went in! We were so hot walking around that huge place, but that didn't stop me! lol! Then we went out to eat at Baby Alcapulcos! YUM!! Love that place....So, today was kind of interesting! We went walking on Guadalupe (for those who aren't true TEXAS fans, its the street right in front of the university with the CO-OPs and other cool places) Of course, I bought some more UT stuff and I'm still trying to decide on a dress....but we got some Gelato Ice Cream and went to The Popcorn Place. It was crazy....there was over like 30 differnt kinds of popcorn. Cajun, BBQ, Cinnamon Roll, Pina Colada, Green Apple, all kinds of stuff.......anyways, we are about to go to the movie to see No Reservations (how romantic right? lol) I've got a few pictures I need to post later....gotta go for now!

2 Days!

Only 2 days left of school!!!! I've got a short class in the morning and I don't even have my second class, but then finals are on Friday and then I'M OFF TO AUSTIN FOR THE WEEKEND BABY!!! My mom and I are going down to visit my sister and we are going to have a good time....!!

Today is his 28th birthday!!! (I'm sure he loved me putting his age on here) We went and ate at Cheddar's and then went to get ice cream at Cold Stone, it was a lot of fun! I don't think I've laughed so hard in a long time. The donkey will get ya everytime.....(inside joke) I absolutely love my friends! So happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Greg, Happy Birthday to You!!!!!

The start of the week...

It's going to be a good week! You know why?? IT'S MY LAST WEEK OF SUMMER SCHOOL!!! It's going to be a little hectic with finals and everything, but I'll just be glad when it's over! So everyone-be praying for me this week! Pray that I do well on my finals! PLEASE I COULD USE THE PRAYERS! If anyone wants to make a weekend getaway let me know! I've been in school all summer and could use it! haha!

A bad fish...

I know, I know....I haven't been good about updating my blog lately, but I've been pretty darn busy. Ok, well maybe not that busy, I guess I just don't have anything too interesting going on in my life......I lead a pretty boring life haha! Actually, I went out on a date and it was horrible! It's kind of a funny story if you think about it. I spent more time getting ready for my date than I was actually on it! haha! I didn't really want to go, but all of my friends kept telling me to just go for it, so I did, but I was real careful. I didn't let him come pick me up, I told him I would meet him for dinner, so I did at 8:30 and got home at 9:20. HAHAHA! NOT EVEN AN HOUR! I said peace out! Over dinner I found out just exactly what type of guy he was and once dinner was over, I said "Well, thanks for dinner, but I'm gonna go." Yea, so I'm not listening to my friends again! lol! Well hey, I did get a free meal! hahahaha (that was kind of mean) Actually, I was going to offer to pay for my own food, but by the end of the date, I said NOPE he can pay. :) My parents and friends and I had a good laugh later though! There are more fish in the sea!

IHOP

I'm super excited! My work is taking us out to eat at IHOP in the morning for breakfast! If there are no employee injuries every 3 months then we get treated to IHOP! Heck yes! It's a free meal!!!!! A college students favorite words!!!

Ok, so tonight Bethany, Kelli, and I are on our way back from Quizno's (which was delicious) and we were talking about one of Bethany's friends who is in the Military and Kelli busted out with - He got deployed to Louisianna. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! and Beth says- Deployed means you get sent like to another country! HAHAHA!!! I guess you just had to be there, but we just about died laughing when Kelli said that!
